HWA AG’s principal business activities are:

The motor racing division runs a racing team currently competing as the official (and only) Daimler AG team in the German Touring Car Masters (DTM) racing series. HWA AG develops and builds the race cars and engines used by the HWA Team and by outside customers also competing in the DTM. In both cases, HWA provides complete technical support. HWA AG, together with Daimler AG, is jointly responsible for marketing the HWA Team and any additional racing teams that HWA engages on a sub-contract basis. The Company also develops and builds engines for various Formula 3 racing series (both national and international). These engines are based on Mercedes Benz production engines and developed in collaboration with Daimler AG.
The vehicles and components division develops and builds road-going sports cars in small series for the premium segment of the automobile industry.
